I am an artist photographer not because it’s my profession, but because it is who I am.
Every photograph I take is a step towards becoming the person I’m meant to be.
Photography, it’s a process of discovery, an exploration of the world and of myself.
Through my lens, I don’t capture moments; I uncover pieces of my own story, bits of truth hidden in the faces and scenes I photograph.

Every click on the camera is a reflection of my journey, a pursuit of understanding and connection.
With each image, I draw closer to the essence of who I am, a person driven by curiosity, creativity, and a deep love for the beauty of the world. This is why I do what I do. It’s not just about creating art; it’s about evolving, growing, and discovering what lies within me and the world around me.

Photography is my path to becoming. And with every image I capture, I get one step closer to myself. It will last until the end of my presence on earth.

Eleonora Castelli, Italian based in Amsterdam, I come from the Marche region in central Italy, a place rich in history, culture, and breath taking landscapes. Growing up surrounded by designers and artisans, I developed a deep appreciation for aesthetics and a keen eye for detail. Photography felt like a natural extension of this creative environment, and over the years, I’ve refined my craft, blending my love for art and design with a genuine curiosity for people and the stories behind their eyes.

Before becoming a freelance artist photographer, I worked as an art director for leading Italian companies, where I gained invaluable experience that continues to shape my approach to creative work. As a portrait photographer, I’ve had the privilege of collaborating with renowned artists, constantly evolving and exploring new ideas.

At the core, my goal is simple; to create meaningful, visually compelling work that reflects both the beauty and complexity of the world we live in. Whether through analogue, digital photography or the evolving possibilities of AI.
I aim to capture moments that connect, inspire, and stay with us.

With Love,
Eleonora
